How TO: Get access to KIPP Galaxy
How to get access to KIPP Galaxy For new or existing staff What is KIPP Galaxy? KIPP Galaxy (http://kippgalaxy.org) is KIPP NorCal’s data portal. It contains data reports and the high health dashboard. It is managed by the Data Team (data@kippnorcal.org). For new staff Request a OneLogin account (this is the same account you would use to log into KIPP Share). OneLogin is managed by KIPP Foundation. You can request an account by sending an email to helpdesk@kipp.org with your full name, KIPP email, title, and location. After they confirm that your account has been created, go to http://kippgalaxy.org/ and click ‘Launch’. You may have to wait until the next business day so that the data syncs overnight. The first time you log in, set a password by clicking ‘Forgot Password’. Use your KIPP email (the same email you used for your OneLogin account request). You’re done! For existing staff If you have never logged into Galaxy before... Follow the steps above ‘For new staff’. If you have transferred sites… We will need to make sure your OneLogin profile is updated. Send an email to data@kippnorcal.org with your full name, KIPP email (old and new), title (old and new), and location (old and new). Running into issues?
