SEIS sometimes deletes text or doesn't save parts of the IEP.
SEIS has ongoing issues with not saving entered data. For longer parts of the IEP, KIPP recommends drafting the text in a separate document and then copying and pasting.
SEIS help desk does have some recommendations on how to minimize the issue:
1. Use Chrome as your browser instead of Safari or Firefox.
2. Use the most updated version of Chrome instead of older versions.
3. Clear your browser's cache frequently. Here are instructions for each browser.
Firefox
Click on the History Menu button at the top (if the menu bar is hidden, press ALT to make it visible.)
Click on Clear Recent History
From the Time range to clear drop down menu, select Everything
Select Browsing & Download History, Cookies and Cache
Click the Clear Now button
Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser
Google Chrome
Click the Tools icon (three dots) in the upper right hand corner
Click on More Tools
Click on Clear Browsing Data
Make sure that All time is selected and check the boxes for Cookies and Cached images
Click Clear Data
Safari
Click Safari in the upper left hand side of your screen. In the menu that appears, click Preferences.
In the window that appears, click the Privacy tab. Click the button Remove All Website Data.
Click Remove Now in the pop up window that appears.
